IMPROVED ICDP CYLINDERS

  The Enhanced ICDP Roll is developed based on the ICDP Rolls. The microstructure is formed by a bainitic/martensitic matrix with homogeneously distributed Fe3C and MC carbides and a certain amount of fine free graphite, also well distributed in the matrix.

Recommended Applications

  •  Rolls for pre-finishing support, finishing supports of bar mills and wire mills.
  • Rings for pre-finishing boxes of high speed wire rolling mills.
  • Work rolls for finishing the final stand of hot strip mills.
  • Work rolls for roughing stands and finishing stands of wide plate rolling mills.

HIGH CHROMIUM CAST IRON CYLINDER AND CAST STEEL CYLINDERS

High Chromium Rolls are rolls composed of high alloy steel or iron with 8% to 22% Chromium content as the cover material and high strength nodular iron as the core material. Since M7C3 Chromium Carbide has a higher hardness than Ferrous Carbide, these rolls exhibit higher hardness, better toughness.

  • HCr Work rolls for roughing stands of hot strip mills and wide plate mills.

CAST ALLOY STEEL CYLINDERS

The carbon content of cast alloy steel rolls is lower than that of other cast rolls, including adamite rolls, HCr steel rolls and graphite steel rolls, thus exhibiting excellent toughness. Cast alloy steel rollers are made of high quality molten steel by arc furnace and refiner with advanced casting and heat treatment.

SEMI-HSS CYLINDERS

The total alloy content of Semi HSS coils is between 8% and 15%, the alloy content of HSS coils is more than 15%, the alloy content is about half of the HSS coil. Semi HSS rolls are mainly applied to roughing stands of hot rolling mills, and work rolls and intermediate rolls of cold rolling mills.

HSS CYLINDERS AND RINGS

HSS Rolls, High Speed Steel Rolls are made by vertical centrifugal casting process, core material is nodular for excellent toughness, cover material is HSS with high hardness and excellent high temperature wear resistance. The shell is made with high alloy content and special heat treatment process.

FORGED STEEL ROLLS FOR HOT ROLLING MILLS

 Forged steel rolls for hot rolling mills are made from special heat forged steel parts and treated to make rolls with satisfactory roll hardness, depth of hardening. Rolls for hot rolling mills have good wear capacity and high strength.

FORGED STEEL ROLLS FOR COLD ROLLING MILLS

Forged steel rolls for cold rolling mills are widely applied to work rolls, intermediate rolls and backing rolls. Lonsun cylinders have a homogeneous hardness in the working layer with superior, high wear capacity and excellent accident resistance; the depth of the hardness layer can be greater than 30 mm.

TUNGSTEN CARBIDE RINGS

Have good thermal conduction properties, excellent wear resistance, high impact resistance, and good toughness. Tungsten carbide rings have good mechanical properties, bending strength can reach 2200MPa, impact strength can reach (4-6) x 106J/m2. High hardness and wear resistance properties come from WC.
